How Maison Edit began
We started Maison Edit because we believe most people already own far more great clothes than they realise and have pieces that deserve to be seen, worn and enjoyed again.
On average, people wear just 20% of their wardrobe 80% of the time. We help our clients rediscover the forgotten 80%.
As two mothers juggling careers, children and busy households, we understand how quickly wardrobes can become overwhelming. Maison Edit was born from our own desire to bring pleasure back into getting dressed and looking good.
Looking and feeling your best shouldn't always require buying more. By editing, curating and organising what you already own, we help you get more value, confidence and enjoyment from your existing wardrobe.
Our goal is simple: to help people fall back in love with their clothes.
With backgrounds rooted in creativity and communication, we bring two complementary skill sets to our wardrobe-organising business. Kate spent the past decade crafting standout events for brands such as Soho House, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and L'Oréal — shaping the look, feel and atmosphere of each experience with her signature eye for detail, organisation and style. Jane's experience spans over 12 years in financial and corporate communications, working with brands including Mulberry, Boohoo, Danone, Rightmove and Auto Trader, where clarity, structure and thoughtful presentation were at the heart of her work.
As friends who share a love of fashion and an instinct for creating order, we saw an opportunity to combine our strengths: Kate's creative vision and meticulous aesthetic with Jane's strategic, polished approach. Together, we created a service focused on transforming wardrobes into calm, functional, beautifully curated spaces — helping people feel lighter, more confident and effortlessly put-together every day.
